One of the two elven peoples; the other being the seelie elves. When the court in the Kingswood split, most unseelie and some seelie elves (the white elves) were exiled with the Queen Sinister. At least two unseelie remained: The Drow, who calls herself the Faceless; and the Chief Librarian of the Library without a Floor (28.07). As both seelie and unseelie, the Bastard Prince claims certain privileges.
The term drow may refer to the unseelie, in which case the Drow’s Tears would refer to the Queen Sinister’s tears at her parting from the Bloodied King, and the drow-ghosts would be undead unseelie.
The Seelie Accords describe the dividing of elfish lands between seelie and unseelie.
