  • The Mud Tongue is known outside of Shuttered as the Common Tongue. The Mud Tongue is the language of the common people of Shuttered. The very richest and youngest of the Shuttered nobility often only speak the High Tongue. A degenerate dialect of the Mud Tongue is spoken by the wild men.
