The gargoyles are small and their limbs are not especially strong but Imorcar the Many placed enchantments on them that protect them from most forms of harm. In addition, their touch draws memories from the minds of those they strike.
• The gharsang, leering faces carved into trees, are described as gargoyles, but there is no suggestion that they are animate.
