This land is some of the most fertile of the Devil’s Fingers. That isn’t saying much for this is a dry and desolate region, but a number of sandalwood trees grow here. They are highly valued by the local gnomes (Dust Walkers) for their nuts, the medicines that can be brewed from their wood, their twigs which the gnomes use to cook their famous hallucinogenic brew and, of course, to make sandals out of.
Sandals are of great significance to gnomes.
