On this desolate stretch of land near Castle Steadfast (20.13), there lies a sunken barrow which dates back to pre-Thringish times. Each lord of the Stodfast was interred here, and their ghosts remain, ever watching the north for sign of invasion.
The bodak Lord Cameron Steadfast has felt the obligation to guard the barrow with his forefathers. The ghosts are displeased with his conduct.
He cannot enter the Castle itself because of the power of its foundations. He haunts the smallfolk who live outside.
See Court of the Steadfast and Lord Cameron Steadfast for more.
