Overview
Thanks to its position beneath favorable mountain slopes, this corner of the Singing Wastes is always blessed by the Shrouded Lands’ annual rainfall (29.14.36). The cacti, which are stubby and thin in the rest of the desert, grow as tall and fat as hardwood trees here. The desert animals congregate here in all seasons to compete for its abundance. Gnoll hunters (15.28), however, are careful not to follow prey too far into the canyon for fear of provoking the wrath of Grandfather Cactus.
